While the "M.D." on the headstone is a dead giveaway, the eye-catching caduceus indicates that Dennis Miller was a physician. He is buried in Big Springs Cemetery, Garland, TX.

Dr. Miller shares a headstone with his second wife, Ruth, and his first wife, Rebecca, is buried just a few feet away. Dr. and Mrs. Miller's headstone is of gray granite, with two urns and what looks to be the bottom of two scrolls. The family name, "Miller", is at the bottom of the headstone, and below the caduceus is:

Dennis Miller
1866-1943

Ruth Miller
1887-1963

Note that the use of the caduceus to denote the medical profession is technically wrong, as it has been confused with the proper Rod of Asclepius, which lacks the wings and only has one serpent. The confusion is widespread in the United States, often traced to its incorrect use by the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
