The neon sign is craps! All glass gone long ago...but was a flashy thing when working..arrow with moving lights to give the impression the arrow was moving.....LOL....
Lay's Motor Lodge located off old Highway 40 in Kingdom City, Missouri was once the Gateway to the Scenic Ozarks. Lay's Motor Lodge opened in the Summer of 1947. Lay's had 36 units, all Air-conditioned, electric heated, and had tile showers. Lay's also had a 24 hr. Restaurant, a service station, and was open year round.
