Entre les Années 1906 et 1926, plus de dix mille habitaient alors aux Etats-Unis, vinrent, à l'appel de l'abbé Louis-Pierre Gravel, s'établir dans les vastes plaines de la Saskatchewan et y fondèrent de villes ainsi que de institutions, culturelles d'expression française.
Between 1906 and 1926 more then ten thousand Canadian citizens, many of whom were then living in the United States, answered the call of Reverend Louis-Pierre Gravel to make their homes on the broad plains of Saskatchewan where they built towns and established French-speaking cultural institutions.
