The Calhoun County Courthouse was built in 1909. For over 108 years (as of 2017) the clock installed in the courthouse clock tower has been keeping folks on schedule.
The clock is inset into the decorative stone roof pf the clock tower. It is white, and its face is not delineated with an exterior circle. Instead, the minute marks delineate the limits of the round clock face. The hours are indicated by Roman numerals, and the hands have a slight rounded element before narrowing to a point.
