Texas Historic Sites Atlas

1 1/2-story frame dwelling; hip roof with hipped dormer; wide overhanging eaves with consoles; l-story porch with pedimented portico that projects from central bay. A good illustration of a hip roofed bungalow, this house, however, exhibits some Classical Revival detailing.

Built for N.A. Burton, who was a wholesale grain and produce dealer. He also served as county commissioner from 1902 to 1906.
