A two-story frame dwelling; hip roof with hipped extensions; wide overhanging eaves with consoles; one-story porch with composite columns; pedimented portico over entry bay and second-floor balcony on north and east elevations.

This house is one of the city's most outstanding and best-preserved houses of the early twentieth century. It was built for Dr. W.T. Hoard, a dentist, and his wife Margaret, The Sullivanesque frieze is especially noteworthy.
