Just off of Tone Road (what used to be Hume highway), is Batchelors Park, that has a good Playground.

While the general playground area is unfenced, it is under large shade sails.

"Located off Tone Road, Bachelor’s Green is a well grassed area and is complete with a playground, undercover BBQ’s, picnic tables and toilets. The area is also home to the Wangaratta Artists’ Studio as well as the starting point for a number of bike tracks. This is also home to Wangaratta’s Liberty Swing, which is perfect for allowing adults and children with disabilities to enjoy the park as well." (visit link)

There are explicit instructions on a sign, in how to use the Liberty Swing if it is your first time at using one.
