Sgorr na Cìche (The peak of the breast), more commonly known by its anglicised name of the Pap of Glencoe, is a 2434 feet, or 742 metre high mountain that forms the western end of the Aonach Eagach ridge that forms the northern side of Glencoe. The peak is almost detached from the rest of the ridge and is well seen in views from the west along Loch Leven or the village of Glencoe which it towers above.
Despite its steepness on all sides, it can be easily ascended by a path that twists up its eastern flank and then around to the west along the northern side beneath the summit. The main and shortest way up starts from the village two miles away and follows the minor road east, before heading up a well worn path up the hillside to a col separating the peak from the rest of the ridge, before gaining the precarious path to the summit.
The summit is a small rocky promontory of many boulders with an excellent view westwards along the mouth of Loch Leven to the far western Highlands.
