A laser-etched, brushed stainless steel plaque, inset into one of the wooden back slats of the Artistic Seating reads:
"This sculptural seat was commissioned by the Friends of the Bright Library and the Alpine Shire Council to commemorate Bright's 150th in 2012."
Amongst the metal covered books, titles include: "Bright Gold", "The Mount Buffalo Story", and "Celebrating Bright's 150 yrs" [that one is on the 'plain' wooden bench, on what looks like a brick planter].
