A 20' high by 15' wide freestanding arch honors Nova Scotia peace officers that have died in the line of duty. The top of the arch is composed of gray stone blocks above a gray stone keystone arch. The support columns are made of white stone blocks. The arch is set on top of a granite base of three steps.
The steps leading up to the arch are inscribed in both English and French. The English version is inscribed:
