The Wheelock Cemetery is located east of Millerton, and is associated with the historic Wheelock Academy, a boarding school for Choctaw young women from 1832 to 1955.
This is a tree stump marker, which is dark in color, and squared on the edges. It stands on two stone pedestals, with the inscription on a rectangular panel. J.W. is John William "Bill" Harris. His inscription reads:
