From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 5.4 miles to the intersection with Green Ridge Road, FR11. Turn right and continue on FR11 for 10.1 miles. Bear left onto FR1150 and continue about 0.9 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 7" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The quarter corner bears W, about 2560' from the centerline of FR1150. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY decal and an ATTENTION sign on an orange Carsonite post which bears W, 15" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the backsides.
What property is this mark defining?: Deschutes National Forest land N from the corner, else Ponderosa Land & Cattle LLC property
