The Honour Roll for the Second World War is on the western side of the Memorial Clock Tower, that was built in 1929, to honour the fallen of the Great War. The World War 2 Honour Roll reads:

Above the Honour Roll is the oft repeated stanza of "The Ode", in a bronze Laurel wreath.
