Art Nouveau Hotel Arcivévoda Štepán, later Šroubek built in 1903-1905, designed by B. BendelMayer, and in a similar style Hotel Garni, later Meran (No. 825), designed by A. Dryak. Both objects are now known under the name of Grand Hotel Europe. In time of the First Republic it was one of the most luxurious hotels in Central Europe.
