EN: This cross is located next to the bus stop on the eastern edge of hamlet Steffen, which belongs to Himmelried.
It is dated 1828 at the pedestal, above there are two hard to read names, presumably the donors, maybe "Urs Imark Elisabeth Haltermat". The metal figure of Jesus covers the upper half of a text, it was obviously added later. Readable is still "... equals mine".
DE: Dieses Kreuz steht am östlichen Rand des Weilers Steffen, der zu Himmelried gehört, neben der Bushaltestelle.
Es ist am Fundament mit 1828 datiert, darüber stehen zwei schwer lesbare Namen, vermutlich die Stifter, vielleicht "Urs Imark Elisabeth Haltermat". Die metallene Jesusfigur verdeckt die obere Hälfte eines Textes, sie wurde offensichtlich erst später angebracht. Lesbar ist noch "... meinem gleicht".
