OMSI, (Pronounced Om-zee) is the largest science museum in Oregon and is considered to be one of the nation's top ten science museums. It was founded in 1944 and was the first science museum located in the Northwest.

Featured at OMSI are five exhibit halls and eight science labs. OMSI has 219,000 square feet of exhibits and demonstration areas. OMSI also has a big screen Theater, a planetarium,that is the Northwest's largest, and you can visit a retired submarine named the USS Blueback.

Open 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with additional hours for the theater, planetarium and special events.
