The branch of Martins bank was only open one day a week and staffed by the people from nearby Sedbergh branch. (see Nearby Waymarks for old photographs and other former banks.)
Martins bank was unusual because they often used ordinary front rooms one morning a week.
This Martins bank acquisition was formerly a branch of Liverpool Bank. (see Gallery)
This was a triple bank branch, Barclays, Martins and Liverpool.
