Dieser Brunnen steht am Merianplatz im Stadtteil Nordend. Im April 1981 wurde der Brunnen des Frankfurter Künstlers Hans Steinbrenner (1928-2008) eingeweiht. Die zylindrische Brunnenplastik aus Aluminium tarnt einen Belüftungsschaft der U-Bahn an der Haltestelle Merianplatz.

This fountain is located on Merianplatz in the Nordend district. The fountain of the Frankfurt artist Hans Steinbrenner (1928-2008) was inaugurated in April 1981. The cylindrical aluminium sculpture disguises a ventilation shaft of the subway at the station Merianplatz.
