The 'main' embedded, and original plaque shown as the Main Photo is easy to reach, and photograph, and on the southern end of the bridge, an the western side tapered concrete parapet.
[There is a second bronze plaque, that is also original and embedded in the concrete formed structure of the bridge. But it is, harder to get to, and harder to photograph, and when I found it, looked like it had 'an attack of the spiders'. It is UNDER the bridge, on the northern end, but right in the middle, and had flood debris left behind, on the concrete ledge of the abutment above it.]
On the northern end of the bridge, eastern side, on a similar tapered concrete parapet with the 'W'-shaped Arma-Guard railing notched into it, is a small stainless steel plaque, with "SN 3077", to identify this particular bridge on the Victorian database of bridge Assets.
This is a single-span, asphalt topped, reinforced concrete deck, supported by six reinforced concrete I-Beams that sit on the concrete ledges of the abutments at either end. Small boulders had been placed on the abutments for erosion control. With the large rocks on the northern embankment cemented in place.
