an approximately 7 foot sculpture of a robotic hand located on the east concourse of Yorkdale Shopping Centre. The piece, by artist Cory Fuhr, was commissioned by the Yorkdale Community Art Centre under the aupices of Yorkdale Shopping Centre and Toronto Economic Development Parks & Recreation with the goal of making art more accessible to all.
The piece, constructed of stainless steel, strongly resembles a robotic hand used by Iron Man or a myriad other super-hero types. It is simply called "Digitus" by the artist.
