This orphaned bridge is probably in the worst condition of all orphaned bridges I've come across in my travels. I don't know exactly when this bridge was erected but it appears to be from the early 1900s. One can see original stone retaining walls on either side of the creek that supported the bridge and concrete retaining walls were added later. The bridge has a metal cable hanging across both sides to deter people from driving or walking over it since the wood has deteriorated to the point that the bridge is no longer safe.
