GEBOREN 23 AUGUSTUS 1914 TE WACHTUM
OVERLEDEN 25 FEBRUARI 1945 TE BUCHENWALD
DEN VADERLAND GETROUWE'.
This resistance monument was established in Wachtum in memory of the resistance fighter Carel Otterman, who was born August 23, 1914 in Wachtum and died in the Buchenwald concentration camp on February 25, 1945.
