The World Floorball Championship was held at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre in Belleville from 4 to 8 May, 2016.

15 countries sent their national teams to compete in the tournament. In the end Sweden won gold, Finland took home the silver and Switzerland defeated the Czech Republic for the bronze.
