This gray granite and bronze historic marker was erected by the state of Mississippi in 1957 at Brice's Crossroads National Battlefield.
The marker reads as follows:
THE BRYCE HOME STOOD WHERE MONUMENT IS LOCATED
The battle scarred two-story house with its bloodstained floors and walls was used by wounded of both armies to escape shot and shell as the battle raged.
