The tall wheat-coloured Colorbond shed has a tall mission-brown coloured 'single-width' roller door. A concrete courtyard, a 'standing pipe' by a bollard at the entrance, and a plastic rain-water tank to the side of the shed, make this a functional addition to the very rural community of Cobungra.

From an article garnered by the ABC: (

"The Country Fire Authority Captain of the Omeo Fire Brigade says a new satellite fire station at Cobungra, in East Gippsland, will help crews fighting fires in the high country.
"The single bay fire station includes a kitchenette and toilet facilities and will eventually house a twin-cab slip on tanker.
"Omeo Fire Brigade Captain, Graham Symons, said the community was trying to raise $30,000 to secure $200,000 of State Government funding to buy the tanker.
"He said the Cobungra satellite station would improve response times to the town, Hotham and Dinner Plains."
