This newly restored vineyard and adjacent Villa Richter belong to the Prague Castle complex. The millennial history of the vineyard dates back to the 10th century, when the south slope was selected by Prince Wenceslas himself.

"This newly restored vineyard and adjacent Villa Richter belong to the Prague Castle complex and shouldn‘t be missed when visiting. It is accessible directly from the Castle and from the western side from Malostranská metro station. You can sample a limited edition of wine from the St Wenceslas Vineyard exclusively in the Villa Richter restaurant. In the summer season there is a takeaway stall at the vineyard and the Villa Richter restaurant opens out onto the terrace."
