In Canton, near the summit of Great Blue Hill, is this fixture with coordinates, and identifying itself as Picture Post Project - Blue Hill - East.
The post and fixture is located west of the Blue Hill Meteorological Observatory Tower, by a structure identified as the kite shed.
The post is installed on a concrete slab about a foot and a half high. The post is made of wood and rises about four feet high, and is topped by a plastic platform and an eight sided fixture. On the side is a laminated sheet with "Picture Post" at the top, then "Blue Hill-East" and then the coordinates:
