This WPA-built grade school is now attached to a new school constructed in 1958.

This WPA school is at the north end of the current Stroud grade school. It is a rectangular building, slightly wider at the front, with Art Deco rounded corners on the northwest and southwest corners. All windows have been covered with metal siding, and a flat metal porch roof covers the facade.
The entrance is recessed at the center, with rounded side walls and two double wood doors and covered transom. The building does not appear to be in use, except perhaps for storage.
A cornerstone lists the names of the Board of Education, and the architects, Koberling and Fleming, and shows the date 1941.
