The sandstone monument with statue of a soldier standing at an obelisk in village Kocbere near Dvur Králové nad Labem is dedicated to 64 citizens of the village killed or died during World War I. As given on an incription engraved at rear part of the obelisk the monument was paid by municipalities of the village Kocbere (Rettendorf). It is written in German language as German speaking minority prevailed in the village until 1945. The monument was made by Emil Schwantner.
