In the center of the bear fountain in the Copenhagen city hall garden is a bronze sculpture of a bear trying to catch the water with his paws and his snout.
The fountain was created in 1888 by the sculptors Joakim Frederik Skovgaard and Thorvald Bindesbøll and placed in 1900 at the present place.
