Actuellement en restauration, l'église paroissiale a été construite dans le quartier Saint-Jaume en 1874, par l'abbé Blanchard, missionnaire apostolique.
Il remplace la vieille église à côté du cimetière. Ce bâtiment pour Saint-Louis, comme en témoigne le vitrail au-dessus de la porte.
Missionnaire apostolique: Destiné à répandre la foi chrétienne. dans l'Apôtre grec signifie "envoyé".
Saint Louis: Roi de France (LouisIX), il a été canonisé par l'Église catholique en 1297.
