Buckingham Airpark is a community on the periphery of Buckingham Airpfield just north of Lehigh Acres, Florida. All the homes in the community have hangars for the occupant's personal aircraft. There are just over 70 homes in the community in late 2017. Occupants can open their hangar doors and taxi along the roads to private entrances to Buckingham Field for take-offs. (Must be nice to have money!)

> Buckingham Airfield was Buckingham Army Air Field of the Army Air Corps in World War II. It was a training base for pilots, gunners and bombers. When the base was closed, the airfield was given to Lee County. It is used for the county law enforcement aircraft as well as light, general aviation (personal) aircraft.
