On December 23, 1898, in Vienna, Johann Strauss III operas in three acts Katze und Maus were premiere. This was received poorly. Critics even advised him to continue working under a pseudonym to no longer infect his family's name. He managed to recover a little, and continued two separate rolls (Opus 1 and 2) who could draw public attention.

On June 7, 2000 – The United Nations defines the Blue Line as the border between Israel and Lebanon.
