The bent, welded Stainless Steel Tubular sculpture is an artists impression of what the Australian Alps could look like, with 'rolling hills' in the foreground. It is secured by four stainless steel 'posts' into the top of a low, cemented granite wall, so that you are looking to the northwest.

From the brown printed plaque below, on the granite wall, it was commissioned by the East Gippsland Shire Council in 2012.

'Behind you' is an Interpretative Sign which explains "Life on the Land".
