Just a little north of the 'milestone' is a turn-in, to someone's driveway, so it was convenient to stop and take photos. While the post is in 'reasonable' condition, it does look like it had been painted white at one stage, but there is very LITTLE of that left.
There was a couple of pieces of baling twine wrapped and tied around the milepost.
It is on a sweeping bend, and even tho there was a little mist still hanging around, the visibility was quite good, so minimal danger while taking photos.
