The Royal Hotel in Manilla is an L shaped building occupying a corner position in the main street. A fairly typical design with a second story featuring a wide iron-lace verandah. It has a large bar area and adjacent rooms with pool tables & darts boards. Country Music on the first Sunday of the month. There is a bistro where you can enjoy a meal & cold beer.

The Gday Pubs website listed below gives a brief history of the pub as:

"Hotel was established in June 1891 and was burnt out in 1913 and was rebuilt. In 1978 the top story was burnt out. During the rebuilding an old café was used as a bar. The hotel was reopened in 1979".
