Wapenveld is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland, about ten kilometers south of Zwolle. The village falls under the municipality of Heerde and has 6080 inhabitants (anno 2004).
The village lies between the river IJssel and the woods and heaths of the Veluwe. Wapenveld consists of a core of homes and shops, built for the most part around the 1960s. A large number of shops are located at the Klopper- or Klapperdijk. In the east are extensive meadows and fields that run until the river IJssel. On the west side of the village are vast forests that invite for hiking and cycling.
