The historic structure is a separate, rectangular, two-story building on brick piers measuring 26 feet an Mascxiic Street and 50 feet in depth.
The exterior walls are lapped siding with wooden framing around the doors and the double-hung windows. There are transoms over each of the doors. The only exterior decorations are circular medallions and brackets on the cornice, escalloped trim over the doors, and a very simple 2 X 23 inch trim on the grovmd-floor doors and second-floor windows.
The lodge members who utilized this building for their meetings (until 1967) were prominent in Bellville's history and development.
