The sign talks about the 'moods' of the Tambo River, and how it could be a Friend, or a Foe. It also gives the Average Annual Rainfall of a few locations along the Great Alpine Road. While the sign does not warn for 'this', do NOT try to cross the Tambo River if water is flowing over the low elevated causeway.
