This was the first time that I had personally used one of these machines, as my Father would do it for me when I was child. So it took a couple of attempts of reading the instructions, and some coaching from the Information Centre staff to get the token I wanted.
The machine is just inside the entry to the Centre, and takes a $2 coin, and by using a copper 'slug', able to give the choice of: Platypus, Tassie Devil [NONE nearby], Kangaroo, or Dingo.
Availability: The Tourist Information Centre is open, Sunday to Saturday: 9.30am to 5pm
