In the village Hillesheim we cound find many Outside Wooden Display Carvings, but no information about them searching the web.
This one is located at the old city wall. It shows a man with lang hait, a cap and a hammer in his hand. The carving says "Simon Schmied von Hillesheim".
"Schmied" is the german word for blacksmith.
