In Milton, within Milton Cemetery, is this grave for John J. Boyce, which has a large etching of a B17 bomber on it.

The cemetery west entrance (open at the time) is about a 100 ft east of the intersection of Centre Street and Randolph Avenue, along Centre Street. The grave is located near Coleus Avenue within the Cemetery. about 100 ft in from Brock Avenue.

The monument is a dark granite stone along a row of headstones. On the northern side is "Blessings of God and Family," the name, "Boyce," and an etching of a B17 bomber. On the other side is the following:

"John J. Boyce, Jr.
1919 - 2001
Claire M. Boyce
1919 - 2011
Together Again Forever"

The type of craft was determined with help from a person who served in the military and comparing images on the Internet.

I could not find any specific information about John Boyce. I am assuming that the image on the grave is due to the fact that John was in service during WW II (he would have been about 20 yrs of age). Specific details in the engraved image of the plane include this:

"A
231070
LGM"

Not knowing military designations, I don't know what these signify.
