Each of the four sides holds the emblem of a branch of the service along with the name. The front holds the dedication, at the base a separate marker gives the date of erection and members of the Henderson County Commissions Court. On the top is an eagle with half spread wings.

Description of Memorial: A sidewalk cuts a swath across the Northeast corner of the courthouse square. The Tall square memorial is equal distance from each of the streets. It is flanked by two flagpoles one for the United States flag and one for the Lone Star State.
