To reach the bechmark from the intersection of HWY 39 and US hwy 69 in New glarus, travel south on US hwy 69 1.9 miles to valley view Rd on the left. Turn left on valley view Rd and travel 0.4miles to Edelweiss Road on the right. Turn right on Edelweiss Rd & continue 1.3 miles to the benchmark on the left. THE STATION is about level with the pavement, and is 20.5 feet west-northwest of the center line of edelweiss Rd. The disk is mounted flush with the surface in the top of a round, concrete monument, and is surrounded by three Orange 4X4 plastic witness posts.
