"She was predeceased by her parents, husband of 73 years, Leland H. Knowles...She moved to Valois in 1983 from Vestal, NY; where she worked in the office of Lee Knowles, Inc. for 52 years with her husband...in Endicott, NY she served as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, PTA volunteer, and president of the Rebekahs and Rotary. Later in life, she joined the Red Hats of Watkins Glen. "
