[GER] Die Baum-Skulptur steht vor dem Eingangbereich zum Park "Planten un Blomen" am Millerntor. Die Skulptur ist 8m hoch und hat einen Durchmesser von 1,2m. Eine Seite des Eichen-Stammes zeigt Hamburg als Kunststadt mit Theatermasken, mit Eulen, die andere Seite den Hafen mit Schiffen und Kränen. Der Hummelwasserträger ist auch abgebildet. Auch ein Hamburg-Wappen darf natürlich nicht fehlen.
Die Skulptur wurde 1980 von den Künstlern F. Vollert, D. Timm und W. Gerthagen geschaffen.
[ENG] The tree sculpture you will find in front of the entrance to the park "Planten un Blomen" on Millerntorplatz. The sculpture is 8 m high and has a diameter of 1.2 m. One side of the oak tree trunk shows Hamburg as a city of art with theater masks with owls, the other side shows the harbor with ships and cranes. The Hummel water carrier is also displayed. A coat of arms of Hamburg can not be missed, of course.
The sculpture was created in 1980 by the artists F. Vollert, D. Timm and W. Gerthagen.

[ENG] The coat of arms of Hamburg shows in red a protruding silver castle with a closed round arched gate, on the battlements with seven battlements three towers, the two outer ones tinned fourfold and each heightened by a six-pointed silver star, the middle big one with dome, on it a knob and a cross.
