This benchmark is located about 8 miles southeast of Medicine Lake Guard Station near the junction of Road 43N45 with Road 43N17. The U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey set the disk in the top of a concrete post about 25 feet north of the centerline of Road 43N17. The cap is stamped Z502 and was set in 1954.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 7.8 MI SE FROM MEDICINE LAKE. 7.8 MILES SOUTHEAST ALONG A GRADED ROAD FROM MEDICINE LAKE GUARD STATION, IN A SMALL CLEARING, 26 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 2.1 FEET SOUTHWEST OF A WITNESS POST, ABOUT 1 FOOT HIGHER THAN THE ROAD, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.5 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.
