Seul Choix Point lighthouse is located south about 4 miles SE of Gulliver Mi. on Lake Michigan's northern shores. The lighthouse has a 78' tower attached to the light keeper house. Built in 1894-95 and started service in 1895. The light originally had a 3rd order Fresnel lens. A fog signal and explosives building were added later. The lighthouse is said to be haunted, as volunteers have reported the strong smell of cigar smoke and dishes being moved. The name is French and translates to "Only Choice".
