This is a bronze sculpture of a young boy and girl sitting on a bench, looking at a book. The girl is pointing at the book. The boy, with his left leg up on the bench, and his arm around the girl's shoulder is looking on. A close up of the book shows that it is an Alphabet book.

The sculptor is Max Turner. The exact title of the sculpture is not known as it appears with various names on different supplier websites.

A plaque on the concrete platform under the bench indicates that the sculpture was donated to the library "In memory of Mary LaVerne Taylor Wilson by her family (2011)."
