Les chutes-de-Sainte-Ursule se trouvent dans un un parc et un site de randonnée pédestre aménagé, situé à Sainte-Ursule (Québec), sur la rivière Maskinongé en Mauricie.

La rivière forme sept chutes d'eau sur une distance de quelques mètres. Se suivent donc: fosse, cascade, gorge et paysage géologique impressionnant dû à l'érosion. Elle a été jadis le lieu d'une activité forestière importante pour la municipalité. Ces sept chutes ont une dénivellation totale de 72 mètres. La chute la plus importante possède une inclinaison de 45 degrés et a une hauteur de 30 mètres.

En 1811 s'établissaient à cet endroit un moulin à scie et une pulperie qui y a été en opération de 1882 à 1907. On y voit maintenant encore les vestiges sur une île située près de l'ancien lit de la rivière. Il y avait de plus des moulins à scie et à pâtes de bois qui furent en activité de 1850 à 1898.

Le park a été crée en 1988. Un sentier se trouve de chaque côté des chutes.

En juillet 2011, le conseil municipal de Sainte-Ursule dévoile son projet de construction d'une centrale hydroélectrique de 1,8 MW sur les chutes. Ce projet a reçu une opposition et le conseil abandonne le projet suite à la suite d'un registre empêchant à la municipalité l'emprunt du 10 millions $.

The Sainte-Ursule watefalls are situated in a municipal parc and a hiking site, located in Sainte-Ursule, Quebec, on the Maskinongé River in Mauricie.

The river form seven waterfalls over a distance of a few meters. They follow one another: pit, waterfall, gorge and impressive geological landscape due to erosion. It was once the site of significant forest activity for the municipality. These seven falls have a total drop of 72 meters (210 feet). The largest fall has an inclination of 45 degrees and has a height of 30 meters (90 feet).

In 1811 there was a sawmill and a pulp mill there, which was in operation from 1882 to 1907. The remains are still visible on an island near the old bed of the river. There were also sawmills and wood-pulp mills which were in operation from 1850 to 1898.

The parc was founded in 1988. There are two trails, one on each side of falls.

In July 2011, Sainte-Ursule City Council unveiled its plan to build a 1.8 MW hydroelectric power station on the falls. This project received opposition and the council abandoned the project following a register preventing the municipality from borrowing the $ 10 million.
